Live Magic Show Programs

Bronson Chadwick puts magic and language arts together like peanut butter and jelly, onstage for all to see!

School Version

We work in schools all year long! Magic in the Library Live for schools is a great way to engage students, bolster reading confidence, and reiterate lessons from the classroom. The school version of Bronson's magic show program is 100% educational entertainment and is designed to enhance the perspective reading and other language arts topics for students.

Best times to Book:

  1. School year kickoff

  2. Reading contest kickoff (such as Accelerated Reader)

  3. Pre-testing time. (Bronson's show features segments on test taking skills for pesky state exams.)

  4. Book fair open house nights

  5. End of year celebrations

Content:

  • Learning to read better through practice

  • Using books for knowledge and research

  • Exploring books that appeal to the reader

  • Genres

  • Mediums

  • Fiction vs. Nonfiction

  • Test Taking Skills

  • Reading Comprehension "Tricks"

  • Writing skills (optional section)
     

Runtime: up to 50 minutes (or less for younger grades)

Setup time: up to 60 minutes once inside the building

Grades: K-5 (we recommend two "showtimes" including one for K-2 and another for 3-5)

Attendance: up to 500 at a time, various grades

Notes: In schools we normally charge per "half-day rate" with up to two showtimes per visit.

Library Version

Public libraries, university libraries, and other educational venues can take advantage of Bronson's program to bolster community engagement, add new value to the library, and have endless fun!

  1. Summer Reading Program

  2. Weekly storytime sessions

  3. Spring break events
  4. Winter break events (ask about the holiday themed shows)
  5. City festivals
  6. Homeschool group engagement events

Runtime: up to 40 minutes

Setup time: up to 40 minutes once inside the building

Grades: works best for ages 5 - 12 and their families

Attendance: recommended for up to 300 at a time, space permitting.
